I needed this to adapt a new Eonon head unit to my Logic 7 system in my 2006 330Xi. Transferring the optical connection from the OEM wiring harness to this unit was a breeze. When connecting "in" RCA R/L audio cables, remember that they connect to "out" RCA cables from the main unit. I would like the device to be connected to the rear cables as well to retain the dampening function, but I can do without that. Please note that I am getting an "SOS" error with this device because the MOST bus controller functionality is not supported. I expected this - and I need to code the error.
