Fabric-based, tear-resistant, adheres well and comes off without leaving any residue. This is a real gaff. It's as pink as you could hope for. I use it to label all my cables and devices and mark my stage. I will buy many more. To update! It is not suitable (and not a gaff, as I was painfully aware) for permanently marking cables or devices. Glue turns to slime after about a year of use, and cleaning out wires and ducts is serious work. It's not the band's fault, it was abuse on my part. I use Polyken neon to highlight stage lights, color code lines, and highlight hazards. It's a wonderful thing
