This is exactly what I need. I've had a couple of cup holders that were also fine and worked well, but one was too long and came loose from the cup holder after extreme back and forth movement. The other didn't have enough points of articulation to have a safe viewing angle (my eyes were too far from the front view I wanted). In my Ford F250 I place this device in the middle compartment on the dashboard, I had to remove the rubber mat in the compartment. It's doing well there. I had to lower my hand as far as possible to touch the edge of the box, which effectively reduced any shaking. If I could improve anything it would be a slightly longer arm so it's about 1-2 inches closer to my face. I use it for GPS navigation and sometimes the lane names are a little fuzzy due to my eyesight. It does help increase the brightness on the table though, so it's not that big of a deal. I would recommend this product if you want to hold a table in the F250 and the cup holder style doesn't suit you. I tried the vent mount just to see if it would hold the tablet and how it would look and my tablet was too big to keep in that position but it looked like the mount would work fine , if I could use them.
