Review on RoomDividersNow Premium Tension Curtain 28In 50In by Sin Gabriel

Works but hangs best in window rods

I ran into a problem after purchasing a beautiful and very expensive curtain rod for my 11 foot window. I couldn't screw it to the walls or ceiling because that's where it turned out to be for the air conditioning vent in my new apartment. So I needed a solution without a center support. I found this tie rod. It was very easy to assemble it. Align the screws. Tighten with the supplied wrench. Unscrew the screws at the end. Remove the cap. pull up curtains. Unscrew the cover. Twist the pole a few inches longer than the wall. Press and position. I'm 5ft 5in and was able to position it myself while standing on a ladder. The good news is that it has been a few days and the rod has not slipped or changed position. But, as other reviews have pointed out, because it's almost fully extended but sags in the middle. I KNOW I stretched him as far as I could, my friend also gave him some muscle in case I was too weak. But it sags in the middle. about an inch down the middle with no weight. I have very light curtains on it. I think it can handle heavier weights too. It's a pretty solid piece of hardware. Gravity just takes over. It does, however, support curtains on an 11-foot wall with no center support. While not the most elegant - 4 stars - I wouldn't have curtains without them.
