Bought after I bought a Sabrent 512GB Rocket 2242 NVMe SSD for my laptop but later didn't need it. This enclosure is a great little portable SSD that ends up being a bit smaller than most other portable SSDs currently on the market. The build quality is fantastic, solid metal. Installing an SSD is easy enough and has worked great so far! Speeds will of course vary depending on the SSD used, but for me I'm close enough to the speed that the Sabrent drive advertises, so I suspect the controller can run at much faster speeds with a high-end SSD installed. A word of warning, be sure to install the included heating pad as the case can get a bit warm when transferring large files, at least in my case. You couldn't get burned by it, but it is clear that the case also acts as a heat sink for the SSD. If you end up using it as a portable Linux or Windows boot drive, things could get even hotter with constant I/O. In any case, this is a great case if you have extra 2242 SSDs or if you really want to build your own portable USB SSD!
