My 11 year old English Pointer/Whippet mix is 60 pounds and all legs! Now he is older and needs a rigid orthopedic bed. It's got all these nooks and crannies and good places to rest your head. It is easy to put on and take off and is durable. Have 1 extra large and 2 large so it has a good spot in several different parts of the house. It goes well with both. The other 2 dogs and the cat in the house also love him but this is a special place for this dog because he is older. Withstands heavy use and washing! I've paid way more for beds of this quality and will buy again when they wear out (or get destroyed by our new pup).
