Impressive knife straight out of the box! Nicely packaged. The knife is very sharp but not as sharp as I expected. I like a knife that can easily cut through whatever I'm cooking. Everything was smooth with vegetables, without effort, but it took a little more effort with meat tools. It's still very sharp though. I thought the balance of the knife could be better. There was a small light in the handle. All in all, but for the money I think it was a very good deal on a knife. Now we are curious to see how it will behave after numerous operations.
