Very, very thin. If you have hardwood floors, forget it. They slip and slide everywhere, dogs always confuse them, it wasn't even worth it, honestly. I've even tried them on my beds and they don't really get cold, they can be a degree or two colder inside but not enough to make a difference. Don't waste your money.
