This is not gold. This is yellow.

I bought this to wax seal some letters with black envelopes. I wanted gold. I got shimmery yellow. I guess you can say it leans more on the yellow-gold side not so much "light-gold" as the description and the image depicts. Some people may like this for other reasons as far as decorations or some other reason. I'm not too fond of it. The wax itself doest the trick.

The color is a rich red. Very classy looking!

Cons

The wick breaks off and smudges the wax with black making it usable.
