I wanted to give him time to train, adjust his vest and finally run a marathon with him. That was the purpose of this purchase. I do long distance racing, running, triathlon and other sports. So it has to be very tight. First I bought the ML but I felt it might be too small. Then I bought L-XL and tried both. Finally, my size was smaller. I ran a marathon last weekend on 3/10. It was wonderful. No stops to drink or eat. I have everything I needed with me. I bought two extra bags of water so I had 2.0 liters + 7 energy gels + 4 energy shots. Fits perfectly. I didn't use the back pocket [it's not easy to reach], it's for the jacket and so on. Also, I kept in touch with the support team during the trial period and then returned the biggest one. Her response was always timely and positive, answering all my questions and requests. A good product. FINAL REMARK: Wear it for a while after you buy it so your body adjusts to the shapes, bottles and things you carry with you. This is uncomfortable at first because your body doesn't know the new tight clothing. It is in order. But once it adapts to your body, it is the best solution for outdoor activities.
