Review on 🌞 Neutrogena Oil-Free Sunscreen that's Sweatproof and Waterproof by Lisa Fernandez

You should avoid it if you have oily, acne-prone, or sensitive skin.

I have oily, acne prone skin and am trying to find a good SPF for my face since Neutrogena discontinued their SPF 70 liquid. I was really hoping I could use it as a daily sunscreen as it's pretty cheap on the face but my skin reacts to it the same way it does to Neutrogena's ultra clean dry touch and it doesn't seem to cause any irritation. works well on oily skin. Too bad I didn't look at the ingredients before buying it because it seems to have the same ingredients as Neutrogena spf Dry Touch product (which breaks me), although it doesn't feel as dry or like a mask. My skin is usually fine with silicones, but this product contains stearates, beeswax, and silicones, all of which can be bad news for acne-prone skin (stearates are notorious for clogging pores, while beeswax and silicone tend to form pores). an impenetrable barrier on your skin that can basically keep anything in while it multiplies with bacteria). I should have just gone spf with the "clean face"; It was never my favorite SPF, but from what I can remember it was definitely better than this! However, everyone's skin is different, but be careful if you have sensitive skin as this SPF also contains methylisothiazolinone, which is banned in other countries. as it is considered "unsafe" for use in cosmetics. It's probably fine as long as you don't get irritated, but I suspect it's a skin sensitizer that can cause irritation and/or an allergic reaction in some people (may cause redness, itching, or worse, an actual immune response). ) systems with blistering and detachment). . My skin can be sensitive at times, but luckily I didn't even get any redness from it. Basically, it just makes me shine and breaks me. How does it look and feel? It acts like a thick cream and feels greasy until it absorbs into the skin. It actually gave me a nice finish under makeup (at first) but be careful if you have oily skin! If so, you may find that it causes too much shine. It's not really suitable for oily skin in my opinion...even if you only wear it alone to do "exercise" outside, I'm not sure if it's suitable for that too (unless you will sweat). I haven't been able to use it as much as I probably would need to protect my face because it's too shiny. It's actually hydrating enough that I could use it as a moisturizer on its own, but even wearing it alone I still couldn't apply more than a thin layer to my already oily skin (resulting in an uncomfortable shine). I didn't like the feel of putting on the right amount or putting it on with a moisturizer. I also don't think it holds sweat very well. There were times when I would sweat while wearing this item (often while hiking) and it actually started dripping onto my face! I don't usually have a problem washing off sunscreen this way. Maybe it's because it's just not made for oily skin or anything (I don't know). However, if you are not sensitive and have dry or maybe even combination skin, this may be better for you as it WORKS. Hydrate and protect without feeling heavy (get ready to glow if you have combination skin). If you have oily or acne-prone skin, there are better options, even in this price range. Cleanse the face with Neutrogena spf or Sport 70 spf from Coppertone or even better liquid spf (I think Neutrogena has a new one).
