Review on Enhanced Efficiency with Gauge Stretch Wrap Extended Handles by Kenny Sarma

An excellent, easy-to-use product that protects furniture from scratches, potholes and dirt

It's so hard to work in the kitchen. Sticking to yourself is the beauty of this product: a few wraps around what you want to protect, smooth the edges so it all sticks together and you're done; No packing tape or additional protection required. I bought this 20" x 1000 ft 80 gauge stretch wrap --- with handles --- this is because I've watched some movers use them to protect just about anything that wasn't in the box .for an overland trip plus a month's storage at the other end, I packed all of our wooden furniture, sofa, armchairs, dining chairs, table top and legs, headboard, IKEA bookcase inserts (in packs of 4), the bookshelves themselves---etc an unadvertised benefit: wrapped things stick to other also wrapped things so a stack of 5 packs of 4 shelf liners (20 shelves total) is rock solid. Our two cats chased the shelves, over and around them and they didn't budge Centimeters. There is an easy way and a difficult way to wrap things with this material. learned through trial and error to create a space large enough for an object (bookshelf, arb ice sheet) can lie flat. I then pulled out a strip of stretch wrap long enough to cover the entire side of the item and with a reasonable protrusion on a flat surface (usually the floor). Then I put the item on the stretch wrap and held it in place that way. Finally, I lifted the foil over the unfolded side as well, then wrapped it as needed. Note that this is useful when packing things that cannot be turned end-to-end, such as a sofa. Remember this protects against scrapes, potholes and dirt: it does NOT provide cushioning. For items that needed soft protection (a 6' x 2' mirror), I wrapped the mirror in cushioning material first, then cardboard, and then a final layer of stretch wrap to keep everything securely in place. I will store things like a snowboard and a fake Christmas tree in it. This product does exactly what it says on the tin, it's good value and if you buy a reel with handles it's very easy to use.
