Image on Amazon does not match this bag. The thing is pretty big. The post opens fully so you can actually load it fully and compactly. It also has two front pockets that expand about 3 inches and two smaller device pockets on each side. Use molle straps to add more pockets and your space will be even bigger. I use it to commute to work and my farmers market/grocery store every day, and it gives me enough room for a change of clothes or an evening meal. The zips and clips feel pretty solid, as do the shoulder, chest, and waist straps. I love that it has a pocket and the necessary holes and attachment points on any hydrator strap that you need to provide. Haven't used mine with a hydropack yet so can't comment on how well it fits when loaded with gear. I also applied a water repellent layer so I can't comment on how well this aspect of the bag works without treatment. I bought the OD color because it was a little cheaper than the brown color, but I'd be happy with either. I only gave it 4 stars because I no longer intend to use it to test its durability. I have a feeling that I will add this 5th start soon. Great bag at a great price.
