Easy to use apple slicer. I've never used anything like this, but thought it would be faster than a knife. And that's probably true. The knife is basic enough, but definitely makes more even slices. The only problem I had, and it was fairly minor, was that the apple wasn't sitting straight when I tried to push the slicer down, so the core wasn't level. It's okay, and I think I'll get better with practice! I don't eat a lot of apples, but I'm trying to get better and eat more fruit, so I hope this cheers me up a bit. I like the feel of the handles and they feel really sturdy. I think it was well done.
