Review on πŸ“± Enhanced Black ZAGG Folio Case with Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard for 1st Generation Apple iPad Mini by Nale Dunn

Excellent keyboard/case with small flaws

In general, I'm quite satisfied. The keyboard layout is good and allows me to type at almost the same speed as on a full-size keyboard. This was the most important feature for me when looking for a keyboard/case as I type a little. I've found three issues with myself that I think anyone interested in this case should know. Firstly, this thing doesn't hold a charge for several months as claimed. I need to charge mine maybe once a month and probably only use the backlight a couple of hours a month. I bought mine used so it can only be the "old" battery. This is of course only a small problem; Charging about once a month is normal. The second issue is another small one and I'm not sure if it's really a problem with this case or my Mini. My iPad Mini forgets that ZAGG connects at least once a day, forcing me to take it out of the case and put it back in or press a button on the side to reconnect. I've gotten so used to it that it's become almost unconscious. It is no problem for me. This does not happen during use; only after standing for a long time without using it. Again, this could be a problem with the Mini. The final issue, and again one that doesn't really bother me personally but might be an issue for others, is that the very bottom edge of the screen is difficult to reach. your finger. I don't have to touch/swipe the bottom edge often, so I don't care. On the rare occasions when I need to do this, I simply take the Mini out of the case and get the precise bottom edge control I need. All in all, I highly recommend this case.

Cons
