These are nifty little cars (bought two), but it is very disappointing that additional battery packs cannot be purchased. The cars only run for about ten-fifteen minutes, and let's face it, for a kid, that is like a nanosecond. I would gladly pay for back-up battery packs, but the company doesn't sell them. I went to a battery store to see about having additional ones could be made, but without the connector to the charger part, it can't be done. I was told once the original batteries stop charging, the store can take the chargers and put them on a new battery pack, but that doesn't help us now.
