My daughter is 2.5 years old, about 100cm tall and weighs 31 pounds. She usually wears 4t in tops and 3t in shorts. Their normal swimming size is 4 tones and lately sometimes 5 inches. I am a 4t/5t size and am disappointed that there is no room to grow. It fits, but there is no room for length growth, especially in the crotch area. We can use it during spring break, but in summer I doubt it will fit. I was expecting to buy another one so we can use them all summer months but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I wish they were bigger. Overall it's very cute and the material is thick. It's a bit thicker than I expected and I'm wondering if it's too thick. Wonder how long it takes to dry. I would definitely say buy one size up from the normal size for your kids.
