you see my cat is an idiot. Certified 100% Brat (replace Brat with another word for the letter "b" if you feel like it - that goes too). She meows to get attention only to beat the shit out of you if you give it to her. Lately she's been sharpening her claws on the couch (to give *you* a better scratch, dear). You see, she's almost 20 years old and doesn't care about anything anymore. So I got this thing specifically to keep her off the couch. First, I placed it in the exact area she was scratching. She sniffed at it and immediately chose *another* part of the couch to hold on to. In short, my couch is covered in double-sided tape everywhere except for the pillows. Technically it's working - she doesn't scratch him anymore, but she's never scratched anything compulsively either, and really only did it because she's a nasty old cat lady. If she could, she would yell at you to get off her lawn. she is so old Now she's trying to bite the heads off my daughter's stuffed animals, completely ignoring the couch. I'll leave the double sided tape on for a few more days, but I can't tell you how effective it will be if you're trying to raise a cat and not just own a donkey. cat like me If you just have a cat donkey like me, you might just want to get some cheap double sided tape that will serve the same purpose.
