Well it does what it says it does. But not very well. I hooked this up to my 27 inch PC monitor from my gaming cube. I wasn't expecting the picture quality to be great, so I'm not deducting points for that. However, there is some distortion on the right side of the screen, which is really annoying. Even if you've connected it to a screen that you don't normally turn off manually, such as a For example, a PC monitor that normally turns off automatically when not in use, this converter will keep it on indefinitely. It seems that when the converter is plugged in but not in use, it sends a constant signal to the screen. This means that if you're using something like a PC monitor that doesn't typically turn itself off manually, you'll either have to manually turn off the monitor or unplug the adapter. I just expected the product to be a little better than this one.
