Either I'm blind or the description has changed in the days since I ordered. Anyway, I thought I was getting a genuine MoPar gas cap, but it's a "fit for" cap made in China. I'll try anyway, but expect code; the ones my mechanic got for me from NAPA or whatever so I expect nothing less. I leave the cord unplugged, expecting to be prompted to return. Edit: Actually the code came back after 2-3 rides, a small evaporator leak. I've been wearing a real MoPar hat for a week but no CEL. I'll wait a little longer before explaining that this is indeed an issue, but I'll get to the point that there's no substitute for a real MoPar. My original cap failed at about 285,000 miles. The first cover I ordered was the wrong one even though it was listed for my car. I didn't realize it so I took my jeep back to my mechanic and he said it was the wrong cover and put it on from his supplier. After several rides, the light returned. Replaced it with this one, same thing. Exchanged for a real MoPar and as I said, the light has been off for about a week now. This is important to me as I need to pass the emissions where I am, luckily I have about 9 months left before the deadline.
