Review on 🧩 High-Performance Mechanical Puzzle Assembly Constructor by Kyle Rock

This is a nice large model which took my 8 year old son about 5 hours to assemble. I helped a little. Laser cutting of wood, design and all mechanisms are very well thought out. The cuts are incredibly precise. The faucet works fine when finished. That is very cool. I would say the threads in the kit should be about twice as thick, this is a very fine sewing thread. Not sure why they skimp on such a small cheap item, a few yards of rope might not be worth anything. Easy enough to fix. They say these models don't need glue, true, but a little CA on some joints is a good idea. My son had a bit of trouble putting the gears together properly and they started falling apart a bit. I helped him put them together a little more securely. With glue. We have made many easy wooden puzzles, die cut dinosaurs, jeeps and ships. These laser cut models seem to be the next step as kids get a little older. I hope they continue and develop more complex models like this one which seems to be the most complex of the Wood Trick series.
