I'm not sure why it's advertised for these particular models or why it comes with a drain filter small enough to do its job fulfill. DO NOT use on self-cleaning surfaces! The white cylindrical pre-filter (which sticks out in the dirt bin) is NOT big enough to cover the holes in the filter holder, which more or less means it leaves a good half inch UNFILTERED path for your vacuum cleaner dirt to fall straight into the motor, which is the sucks dirt into the ground. See here the photo comparison of the vacuum cleaner that came with the new vacuum cleaner and the vacuum cleaner that was bought. I unfortunately didn't notice this for about 3 weeks and with a medium haired dog that was due to be cleaned afterwards all the hair and dirt was sucked straight into the motor (maybe he didn't have a filter at all) and turned me into a robot vacuum for $400 in the trash.
