They hold up as well as you would expect (the velcro certainly helps!) and they don't seem to bother Hank the dog at all. I usually only do one leg for the sake of simplicity though. We have ALL tile and wood floors so for an 80# rescue dog this is very slippery, esp. in winter when everything is so dry. I can tell he's getting up off the couch more confidently and thankfully his legs no longer spread when he tries to walk. This was a HUGE blessing for us/him and I only wish we had waited that long to order. The quality of the socks is good (although there are a few drawstrings inside that you have to be careful of when putting on to keep your nails from catching) and I like that the bands are on both sides so if you get twisted they stay quiet. Effective. Would recommend to anyone wondering if this will help their pup get better on slippery floors.
