Review on Yamaha Black HPH-100B Dynamic Closed-Back Headphones by Guanyin Lin ᠌
I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.
took off one star for fragility, but only one, because. the sound quality has not fallen, you can put it on, it’s even more convenient now, albeit with additional personal efforts according to the photos: I removed the places of breaks (filled with acetyl acrylate with a hardener), removed the ear pads from the alik (the state for 1.5 years of using them), and the fabric "wrapper" for the bow, too, with aliexpress (I shave baldly, synthetics were unpleasant, it was sweating under it, and with this thing does not sweat).
- A very clear transparent sound, well separated by frequencies, instruments / tracks are much more distinguishable than in any previous models (from random Chinese to monitor pioneers, Sony and Sennheisers of not the lowest price category). Of course, without an equalizer, the bass seems not enough, when compared with some huge mugs from alik, in which the rest is almost inaudible. But this is easily corrected by the system equalizer (if, as in my case, we are talking about a PC), at least until the frequency response is equalized, at least just to your taste - the margin for cheating is actually hefty, they can roar so much that it seems the table is vibrating
- Very weak hinges: the first one flew off after about 6 months, crumbled right into pieces, although there was not too much load (they didn’t fall, didn’t sit on them by mistake, etc.), the second one after a year. I just had to put it at the right angle and fill the missing parts with superglue, in such a layer that it replaced the part. And also too shallow ear pads: after a few minutes of wearing, the ears begin to ache because they are pressed. But on alik now you can find any, and synthetics, and velor, and even real leather can be found.
