I'm a 13 handicap player and I play hollowback irons and the main problem with my game is 100 inches and the occasional wedge with chunks or skulls so I decided to give the CBX2 a try. . I used to play with a Cleveland Rotex 2.0 588 wedge, which is a blade. This wedge has the same handling feel and travels exactly the same distance at full stroke as my previous 56 degree wedge, but the main difference is more "good misses". There have been many shots since the 25th where I could break or smash the iron, but with this wedge the ball flew and made it onto the green. Not a perfect shot by any means, but it's MUCH more forgiving, which of course (hopefully if I can score) will lead to a better result. Overall it works as advertised and in fact anyone with a handicap over 8 should probably play with such a wedge to 'put the game up'. 5 Stars!
