The handles are covered with rubber-like material in three different colors, which prevents your hand from slipping when using the peeler. We used a green-handled vegetable peeler to peel thin-skinned vegetables like apples and cucumbers. The peeler with the red handle has slightly serrated edges and is well suited for peeling fruits with a waxy or hairy skin, such as e.g. B. Kiwis and peaches. The peeler with an orange handle has a more serrated edge and is suitable for cutting vegetables into strips or long strips. and fruits. These knives have very sharp blades and are well suited for each of their purposes. Unfortunately there is no guard or guard to cover the sharp blades when the cleaners are not in use.
