Well, I'm an Environment & Safety Director with 12 years of experience sampling and analyzing atmospheric effects and equipment. I ordered this pack after seeing good and bad reviews. NOT SPECIAL, these masks only have two layers and the layers DO NOT BREATH. Even if you pass the nosepiece that does NOT fit when you breathe all the airflow will go through the edges, this material will NOT filter your airflow. This is very close to the impenetrable layer. This means particles flying out of your mouth will not be captured. I also don't know what the nose piece is made of, but it doesn't fit like a metal strap should.
