works very well. The hand is very hard. need longer. I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the bracket is about 1" above the side of the console. The lever is incredibly stiff. I like that it's strong, but it seems overly complicated. I see no reason to make the lever that strong, especially when the mount itself is just a cheap little piece of plastic, either go all the way and make the mount a bit too strong, or relax your hand a bit on the mount itself is a typical cheap plastic adjustable spring mount. the clips themselves the clips themselves sometimes pop out and fly around the car which is annoying, they sent these rubber inserts that supposedly help attach the arms but i haven't put them in yet. really easy to install.
