Temflex Rubber Splicing Tape" (these are also available at the store), cut a piece, stretch, and simply wrap one of the ends until it is snug against your door to prolong the life of your door monkey (see photos) The tape is only $2.50, a roll lasts forever and can be used for many other purposes, so that's it handy to have at home our door monkey broke 6 months ago and my build is still holding up.
