It looked pretty good when it arrived but on inspection it's pretty clear there isn't Piece hard is "natural" or "high-grain" leather. . You can even see from the photos in the listing at the cropped end that this is a piece of rougher suede with some sort of synthetic coating on the top and sides. a little near the tapered end of the belt after a few months of wearing. This is disappointing. It's very soft, which is nice, but it looks a little fake up close and has already stretched quite a bit. The design is nice and the ratchet buckle works well if you're the right size. I like that the trigger is hidden in the back. We'll see how the leather holds up, but I have a feeling I'll be replacing it in a year or two.
