Nice thick vinyl material
They have been rolled up and neatly stacked on top of each other. The covers didn't really fit the corners well enough, but there was enough material to simply unscrew the seat pads from the underside and reupholster all the chairs by using a construction stapler to tape down the vinyl and trim away the excess vinyl. The result shows the photo of two chairs. A photo of a chair shows what it looked like before I upholstered it. Sometimes you have to improvise and make things work, and in this case it worked well.
