The 6.35mm jack does not hold the plug very well. It falls out with the slightest pressure. I have a 1/4 inch piezo pickup on my guitar do you need to swap from that to a standard 1/4 inch guitar cable. The piezo pickup grips tightly to the 1/8" plug, but any movement of the end of the guitar cable and the plug slides right out. Most good quality guitar cables are pretty strong, so it's a guaranteed disaster. When using it live I have to use black tape to tie the 1/4" joint securely together before venturing out on stage.
