This is a really nice battery charger! I was already pretty sure it would be, based on the reviews, but after having it in my hands I can see that it is well built, sturdy, and thoughtfully designed. I like the fact that, instead of plugging it into a 120 VAC outlet, you plug it into a 5 VDC phone charger. It comes with a cable to do so, with a type C connector on the end, but--even better-- I noticed that it has 2 voltage input connectors on it, one for the type C, and another one for a type B micro connector! So, that's handy for when that's what is available. For instance, I unpacked the charger and took it over to my "charging station" where I've got a 5V "power block"--a phone charger that has multiple outlets, and is capable of using whatever charging protocol the device to be charged has. And, just as I expected, I had an available cable already plugged into it that wasn't being used, which had a type B micro connector on it. So, I plugged in the new battery charger, and then loaded the 3 AAA NiMH batteries that have been waiting on this battery charger to arrive! Immediately after plugging the battery charger in, the displays lit up, then it was simple to put the 3 AAA batteries in (the design is nice, it can charge any size battery up to D cells). They showed very low charge, which I expected. I didn't notice the time, but it couldn't have been but about 2 hours later I came & checked them, and they were already fully charged!I am VERY pleased with this battery charger, it was a solid buy for the money, and in addition to the awesome battery charger, it came with 4 AA and 4 AAA NiMH batteries! And, I've used this brand before, they are good batteries! This is an awesome purchase!
