Anyone who gives these cables 4-5 stars is simply not using them long enough. Because they will all eventually die/fail, some even right out of the box. Of the 3 I had, 1 worked perfectly (but I lost it before it could fail), the 2nd got weaker each week and ended up with the watch not getting past 90% even after charging all day didn't provide any power at all, then the 3rd didn't work at all even on the first try. (I got another Garmin watch and this new cable worked right away, for comparison, so I know it wasn't a watch). . I might as well give them a 4-5 star rating in week 1. But never read a review if people haven't had it in a while.
