NOT cross stitch! for kits

PLEASE NOTE: These kits are NOT valid for cross stitch kits. However, these are conventional embroidery sets in which motifs are applied to fabric. Counted cross stitch usually requires a special fabric and you have to literally count the holes in the fabric to make sure you place the stitches in the right place. Other than that, these are good sets. They are perfect for beginners. I love beautiful designs and am working on a red and purple floral design myself that ended up in another series of embroidery kits. I loved having everything I needed and I could start working on a project right away without running my sewing/craft workshop for materials! They are ideal for your own needlework or for learning to embroider, allowing the student to learn many basic stitches that will be helpful as they move on to bigger and better projects. They don't take long either. These are used for learning to embroider, so ready-made kits are a joy to tinker with. Many times I have taken what they need from my stash for those wanting to learn sewing skills like quilting. However, it is good when teaching to have everything included. These sets have three needles for each set, but the three sets share the same thread scissors as well as the hoop. Please note that only ONE tire is included. Although it's in the bullets, it's easy to miss since the first photo shows three tires. I let the seller know it was confusing. Hopefully they fix the list. Sharing thread snippets isn't too bad, especially if you're teaching small groups or a few friends. If you are teaching more than one person at a time, you will need more hoops. When the student or you are finished, the embroidery hoop can frame the embroidery. I found useful information on how to use an embroidery hoop to frame something and make it look neat from the back. Unfortunately, I cannot specify the URLs in the rating. I appreciate receiving these kits. Many Thanks.
