This is a wonderful set of 12 pearl pigment powders in handy containers. They are more pastel colored than the mica I already have so they give a softer look to my finished epoxy crafts. But like any powder, you have to be really careful with it. The other mica I have comes in containers with a lid that you can just open with your finger. But these containers have screw tops, so be very careful even if you open them for the first time and have to remove the inner seal. This powder is just that. Powder. It's very good and can go anywhere if you're not careful. Not much needs to be added to the resin to achieve a great pearlescent effect. And I'm SO glad those little spatula stir sticks came with it. They do their best to get the powder into the resin without making a mess. Salesperson. thank you thank you thank you for including her in this set! I've had no problem mixing bead powder with resin, and just like with resin, I continue to mix the powder slowly, scraping the sides of the mixing bowl to make sure all the powder has dissolved. In one of my photos I show what 2 pearl powders look like in the cured resin. Doesn't that white color look like pearls? I love these pearlescent pigments and can't wait to try more of them! This is a great set at a very reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more. 5 stars for that!
