I recently drilled a hole in the wall to run a cable. I figured it was just a wire and I could probably make a nice clean 1/2" diameter hole without too much mess. After a few minutes I realized I had torn a terrible hole in the drywall, and I was adamant that I would find a solution to cover it up. I looked around for possible solutions and came across jacks. I then went to a few hardware stores and found that they only had these 1.5- 2" items have. This would require me to make a noticeably large hole to hide it. I decided to search online and found these 1 inch sockets and a few days later I had that little hole completely covered and looking great. It's hard to find these sizes in store so I would definitely recommend ordering this if it suits your needs.
