So I saw there was a new version of this and as a user of an earlier model 7215 with a broken shaving head (that seems to be a common problem) I have decided to try this instead of trying to replace the head. The question I guess everyone wants an answer to is: Has the razor head been redesigned to prevent the clips from breaking? That's hard to answer with certainty. The piece has been slightly reworked; There are a few plastic extensions that make it look different, but as far as I can tell the clips are pretty much the same. Does a redesign help prevent breakage? I have no idea. I'll try to post a photo when I get a chance. Another important thing that I noticed very quickly is that the motor in this version seems to be a lot less powerful than in the 7200 series. Does it just take time to crack? Is my block bad? I do not know yet. My initial use of the trimmer was so discouraging that I actually went back and used my broken one instead. The good news is that I can replace the head with an old trimmer and it will still work, but buying a brand new trimmer just to use a part isn't exactly cost-effective. I'll make a few more tries before I arrive. for a better finish.
