I use these shoes for everything that comes in contact with water, not only in the pool but also for bathing my dogs or cleaning the decorations in the fish tank etc. Perfect fit so I don't get bogged down in the pool. The insole of the shoe is sufficiently padded so that I can walk on rocky surfaces without pain. It dries very quickly and does not retain any part of the water.
