I would not recommend Ardent products. I bought the lift much later than they debuted, so they weren't the first models to roll off the assembly line. My decarbed lift oils always seemed weaker than the ones I cooked in the oven. Sometimes he works for more than three hours with just a few grams of material. Other times it takes two hours with a lot of material. I believe that the microprocessor is just a random number generator. Today I started my elevator for the last time. I plugged it in and pressed the button and after 5 hours the light was still red and the unit was still warm. That pretty much ruined the stuff for about $60. All in all, Lift cost me a lot of money by producing weaker oils than if I just used an oven. Your new one is more expensive and more difficult. Wow! They couldn't get the first one right, so now they're doing the harder one. I wouldn't trust that. If you want precision, buy a science oven and read GW Pharmaceuticals' patents on decarboxylation. They contain all the information you need for perfect decarburization - better than Ardent products. You can buy a Science Furnace for $400, which is the price of a new Ardent machine. Flaming decarboxylators are an interesting idea; the quality is just too inconsistent. They have quite a few broken and damaged units. I believe that some kind of manufacturing defect is affecting the thermal protection of the electronics. They seem to be boiling, which is why my lift, which has gone through about 30 decarbonization cycles in its lifetime, completely collapsed. It seemed like it never worked properly. The manual gives little information on how long this should take. I eventually found out it was supposed to last two hours, but that discovery came two years after I bought the device. Now I realize that I spent a lot of money on a machine that cannot decarburize as efficiently as a furnace due to defects - almost everyone has one! You got me Chanel! I bought something worse than what I already had. Excellent marketing. Bad product. Don't buy this. Just use your furnace and if it's not good enough, buy a science furnace.
