This product is sold as putty or adhesive and must be clean. When used as a filler for some countertop cracks it dries to white. The same color as Elmer's old wood glue, which was off-white or maybe off-white. Its one to one ratio makes it easy to blend and I've tried it in 4 different uses now and it always dries white and opaque. I spread some leftovers on a piece of wood and made it as thin as possible and it dried and glued the 2 pieces together well. It is not suitable as a filler, I had to use a Drimmel and clean visible areas where I tried to use it as a filler.
