I bought these on a whim as I need headphones all the time. Mainly because I managed to temporarily lose every single pair of headphones I had. The foam is soft, the plastic piece that fits behind the ear is thin enough that I don't really notice it. My only (minor) complaint is that there aren't any built-in volume or track controls like the Apple headphones, but for the price I can't really complain.
