Had an almost identical model for several years and eventually wore out. Would have lasted longer, but fell off a few times (head banged when I dropped it, but I always managed to put it back on and turn it on, although fit issues increased). Operating time (turn it off completely or almost completely from time to time, especially when you use it for the first time). And I could always disconnect it from the cable in an emergency. I can usually make two or three cuts without recharging, although these are fairly quick and easy cuts (#3 all over, #2 around the ears and slightly tapered at the back, bare metal for tight work here and there, that's it). I really have nothing wrong with this model, except maybe that the case the set comes in is a bit annoying: opening it from both sides is just awkward. But a little "duck tape" on one end and you have a nice (well, maybe not "nice" but fully functional) hinge. So I just ordered a new one and plan on hanging up the old one for parts. Update: just arrived. I'm happy to report that I only see two differences: 1. Chrome, not grey. 2. The container that the kit comes in has been improved - a handle on one end and a hinge on the other. Adhesive tape is no longer needed!
