Review on Dunham Mens St Johnsbury Brown by Johnny Burns

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good sandals, fair price

I suspended the initial check to see if there would be a friction problem and that doesn't seem to be the case. . .When I first tried it I liked the insole (filled with gel?); very comfortable, and the 4-way adjustment allows you to put and fix your foot in the sandal in the most comfortable place. It felt like the inner side band was chafing (it puts more pressure on the foot/ankle than the other bands), but it's soft enough not to cause any real irritation. The biggest plus is the size; EEEE sandals are hard to come by, and even fancy "walking sandals" aren't wide or very wide. This prompted my wife to ask if they were too small as my previous kits had to be a size or two larger to fit the width of my foot (lots of extra room front and back). The insole is either suede or (more likely). ) something synthetic, but I'm under the impression that this will wear down over time/humidity (either from wetness or sweat). The time will show. As mentioned in the title these are good sandals but at the current price I would deduct a star because they are not that good.

Pros
  • All good!
Cons
  • No power
