I bought this as a birthday present for a lifelong friend. I was amazed at the softness of the fabric, the placard covering over the zipper down front (that is the sign of a quality garment, the waist elasticized band that is virtually hidden from sight as it is inside the waist area itself - and finally, no hood, to trail around in the summer - which is the purpose of this garment. The neck is perfect for a hot or warm day, a no collar look with a no button top that could cause irritation and not fit well as men's neck's vary in size. The print is beautiful!
