I bought these for my 11 month old son (size 6-12 months) and the waist is HUGE despite the adjustment. He's slightly below average in weight and slightly taller in length, and his pants tend to fall off after a little crawling. However, these jeans completely slide off him when I pick him up, even over a cloth diaper. They're adorable and lightweight, making them feel more comfortable than tighter and bulkier jeans. So I would recommend them if the pants are too tight in the waist for your child, but definitely not if your child is slimmer than mine.
