Review on Gingher 8-Inch Dressmaker's Shears with Knife Edge by Patrice Dorsey

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The old one looks and feels like new, almost no rust and nothing else.

I used the previous copy of these scissors for 20 years then the nut holding the screw fell out and was lost. I bought a new one to replace it and then replaced the nut on the old one. Now I have two. I am impressed with the durability and comfort of the scissors. I didn't keep the old one very well either, using it as utility scissors, wire cutters and occasionally putting it in the dishwasher. The old one looks and feels like new with almost no rust and just a slight dullness on the knife blade. Excellent quality steel - has definitely outlasted and outperformed all other shears.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
