I didn't expect this rod to be as well made as it is. I installed it above my washer and dryer so I can hang things when I take them out of the dryer. The expanded width in my closet is about 67 inches. It comes with six screws, although you only need four. However, I would recommend using dowels if you are attaching it to drywall. Assembly was a bit difficult for one person. The only odd thing about it was that it has tabs on the ends which you use when you attach it to the "hook rail" but you bend when you just attach it to the wall. Mine came with one of the tabs already bent down. I didn't attach it to the hook bar, so it didn't matter (I bent the other one myself with a few hammer blows), but I'm wondering if it would come loose if I tried to bend it back.
