This necklace is gorgeous! I thought it may be on the smaller size, but it is a nice size! The color is perfect any mom like me would be proud to wear it! I haven't taken it off since I got it. It is 925 sterling and is marked so. I have had no discoloration to show otherwise. The chain length was shorter than what I prefer, so I just swapped out the chain for another I had. The chain is a box style chain, if you have a smaller neck it would probably be fine. It will definately get noticed no matter where you wear it. It is easy to clean, comes in a great little gift box. So gifting it will not be a problem. It doesn't look like cheap costume jewelry at all, you can tell there is quality here. I don't know if they would provide a longer chain if asked but if not you can buy a longer one for a decent price and change out. The pendant is worth the price hands down.
