Very easy to "too much grab" and detach the emblem. This is because 3M tape does not have an extended tab to grab and also because 3M tape is smoother than the back of the emblem. (After a few years, don't be surprised if the emblem disappears but the 3M tape and emblem backing remain on the truck.) I attached mine with (hopefully) some Gorilla Glue in one corner where the backing started. to tear loose Emblem is the perfect sanctuary. 3M tape is always a plus. It is best to start with a knife blade to peel off the 3M tape. Of course, paying close to $30 for a pair of emblems is a bit silly, but it is what it is. And you wouldn't be looking at this page if you weren't just as stupid about your truck :) Concerned about the rear being exposed I find 4 stars a little generous but I still recommend these emblems and that's the seller. Arrived in just a few days.
